Studio Musician

A childhood guitar virtuoso, Dave Barton is a Queens University music graduate who teaches music at the college level and has played with a long list of renowned jazz greats. Dave is a multi-instrumentalist with experience in a wide variety of musical genres and is also our staff orchestrator.

A Queens University percussion major, Jerry Clancy has a wealth of experience as a drummer and percussion specialist for both live and studio work and has toured with top jazz, blues, country & pop musical acts.

A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Music (U of T) Francis Rose is a keyboard-player extraordinaire, and our Summit studio session leader. Frank is a renowned music teacher and has also worked on several televised network music shows, and played keyboards with a long list of music industry greats from many genres.

A Humber College Music graduate, Jeremy Daw is a full time working musician with his own production company, who divides his time between teaching music and studio work as both a producer and session musician.

Co-owner of Summit Sound and a member of the Covenant Award winning vocal group the Proverbs, Kathy Daw is a graduate of the St Lawrence College visual arts graphic design programme, and chief designer and production co-ordinator at Summit Sound. Kathy also works regularly as a background vocalist in the studio.

Co-owner of Summit Sound and a member of the Covenant Award winning vocal group the Proverbs, Dave Daw is a graduate of the Loyalist College communications studio techniques programme, chief engineer and president of Summit Sound . Dave also works regularly as a producer, studio-client vocal coach & background vocalist in the studio.
